ACCOLADES CONTINUE TO FLOW FOR THE HUNTER’S LEADING AGED CARE PROVIDER

August 3, 2016eclipse_admin

Anglican Care’s vision to provide “Excellent Care and Enhanced Lifestyles” is true not only just for residents and consumers but also for the loyal and committed staff members, who provide this care to our residents and consumers each and every day.

This commitment has been rewarded with yet another three National award nominations, this time for their Human Resources team.  The organisation is a finalist in the Australian HR Awards in the following categories;

  • Australian HR Manager of the Year – Catherine Morduant
  • Best Recruitment Campaign
  • Best Reward and Recognition

“This is a well-deserved honour for our HR Team. They are in very high quality company, competing against high profile national organisations such as Hesta, Telstra and MYOB,” said Colin Osborne, CEO of Anglican Care.

“These prestigious awards bring together industry leaders to celebrate excellence in the Human Resources profession, recognising individuals, teams and companies for their outstanding achievements in people management. It is an honour and a credit to our amazing HR team that we have been chosen as finalists.”

Catherine Morduant, who is a finalist in the Australian HR Manager of the Year, has been with Anglican Care since December 2005. With the Aged Care sector being so highly legislated and with major reform over the past three years, Catherine has continually introduced innovative programs and led the team to implement initiatives to assist across all areas of Human Resources Management.

“It is clear from our employee retention rate that the Human Resources initiatives, of which Catherine and her team were instrumental in developing, are working. 20% of the staff have been employed at Anglican Care with 10 years of service. We currently have 184 staff with ten plus years of service, 81 people with fifteen plus years of service and an amazing 40 people with twenty plus years. So we are certainly doing something right,” said Colin.

“It is such an honour to lead this team and I congratulate Catherine and the HR Team at Anglican Care on this wonderful achievement.”

The winners will be announced on Friday 9th September.

Anglican Care is one of the largest and most innovative providers of community and aged care, services providing excellent care and enhanced lifestyles to seniors throughout the Hunter, Central Coast and Manning Regions of NSW.
